Track Event FAQ’s

What are track days and road trips?

A track day is a high-performance driving event in which non-professional drivers can drive their own vehicles on the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (Mosport) race track. Participants receive safety instructions and in-car coaching, plus a light breakfast and catered lunch to enjoy between lapping.

Road trips take our track day experience on the move. As a group, we drive to world-famous racetracks like Watkins Glen International or Le Circuit Mont Tremblant for two full days of track time, accommodations and meals included.

How do track days work?

Track days start with registration in the morning, a mandatory drivers’ meeting and safety instructions, and then a full day of coaching and time on the track. A light breakfast and catered lunch are provided (the track closes during meal times).

We typically split participants into three designation groups: Novice, Intermediate and Advanced. Each group enjoys 20-30 minutes of track time. Specific details may differ per event, so be sure to check out the details for each of our track days as they are posted.

Are track days safe?

Each of our high-performance driving events have full safety support staff on-site including highly trained in-car coaches and paid marshals. We ensure each and every motorsport event we run is professional, fun and most importantly, SAFE.
